Visit Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Delhi
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
On arrival at Delhi Airport / Rly. Station you will be transferred to the hotel. Youngest among the four metros, Delhi boasts of a historic past as well as a vibrancy and modernity that befit the Capital of the country. Delhi is well connected by Metro railway network and you can use the same to get a feel of the city on your own as the day is free. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 02: Delhi
After breakfast proceed on a sightseeing tour of Delhi visiting the Red Fort, Jama Masjid- the largest mosque in India, Chandni Chowk for a feel of Old Delhi charm, Rajghat and Shaktisthal, the Rashtrapati Bhawan, India Gate- a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred, Birla Temple, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar. In the afternoon you will dropped at Connaught Place for your shopping and refreshments and then you will again come to see light and sound show at Red fort. Overnight in Delhi.
Day 03: Delhi – Agra (210 Kms. / 5 hrs aprox.)
After breakfast you will check out of the hotel and to Agra. En-route visit Akshardham Temple on the Yamuna banks (Monday closed). On way you will visit Mathura visiting the Bankey Bihari temple, ISKCON temple and other temples in and around Vrindavan. Also take a brief stopover at Sikandra - Tomb of Mughal Emperor Akbar. On arrival at Agra check into the hotel. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight at Agra.
Day 04: Agra
Early morning, witness the world famous Taj Mahal at Sunrise. Taj Mahal, considered poetry in Marble stone, the monument of love built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his beloved wife Nurjehan, is an architectural beauty of global acclaim; Enjoy the Taj to your heart’s content and then proceed to visit the Agra Fort across the Yamuna River. You can take a view of The Taj from the towers of Agra Fort as did Shah Jehan during his confinement there in his old age.
Later visit Pearl Mosque and the Tomb of Itamad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noor-jehan. In the evening you may visit market of Agra for souvenirs. Overnight at Agra.
Day 05: Agra – Jaipur ( Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri) ( 230 Kms./ 4 hrs aprox)
After breakfast checkout of the hotel and proceed to Jaipur. En-route visits Fatehpur Sikri, (aprox. 37 kms from Agra). Fatehpur Sikri – a city fort in red sandstone which was built in honor of a sufi Saint Salim Chisti who predicted sons to Emperor Akbar. A sprawling complex for city life, visit the finest monuments within this area- the Diwan-i-Am, Diwan-i-Khas, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and the tomb of Saint Salim Chishti, and the Jama Masjid . Diwan-e-Khas entirely unique in its concept is a tall vaulted room with intricately carved pillar and capital supporting a platform that once held the emperor's throne. Panch Mahal is a five storied pyramid like structure probably a pleasure home of the emperor and his harem. Set like a jewel in a courtyard of pink sandstone is the finest building - the marble Tomb of Salim Chisti covered by finely carved, lacy marble screens. The Buland Darwaza, an imposing gateway was built to commemorate Akbar’s Gujarat victory.
Continue to Jaipur and on arrival transfer to your hotel. In the evening visit Birla Temple, an intricately designed white marble temple. Visit Chokhi Dhani - an ethnic 5 star resort serving Rajasthani & Continental cuisine with live music, astrology, games, folk dances and music, puppet shows in an ambience of ethnic village. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06: Jaipur
Today after breakfast proceeds on a sightseeing trip of Jaipur and its outskirts. Visit the Amber Fort, in the outskirt of the city. Experience the imposing structure with its awe inspiring view. You can hire an elephant for a joy ride. Later visit the City Palace, the Central Museum. Jantar Mantar, the Hawa Mahal, Albert Museum etc. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions from the cover of the veil. The city was founded in 1727 A.D by Maharaja Jai Singh II according to Hindu scriptures. Jaipur is surrounded by hills on three sides, formidable forts and majestic palaces, mansions and gardens. It took the name of Pink City when its buildings were painted so to welcome Prince Albert of Britain during the Raj era. In the afternoon visit handicrafts shops of Jaipur like Johari Bazar for souvenir hunting. Overnight at Jaipur.
Day 07: Jaipur – Delhi (260 Kms. / 4 hrs. aprox)
After breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Delhi, en route you visit Neemrana Fort, which is one of the magnificent and age old fort of Rajasthan, now converted into a heritage hotel. Neemrana is said to be the home of the decendants of the legendary Prithviraj Chauhan, the last Hindu ruler of Delhi. Continue to drive to Delhi and on arrival transfer to the airport / Rly. Station.
